BRIDGITTE ANDERSON'S CHEWY MILK CHOCOLATE COOKIES
2/3 cup melted butter
2 cups packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons hot water
2 and 2/3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 package milk chocolate chips (12 ounces)
Beat together melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla, eggs and hot water.
Stir in flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir in 1 pkg. of milk chocolate chips.
Drop from small spoon on parchment paper on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 F for 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
