Mediterranean-Style Rub
This recipe hails from TED READER, who is truly the king of the Q. His book, justly titled, "King of Q’s Blue Plate BBQ" is a wealth of rubs, marinades and all the trade tricks to finger licking good BBQ.

This Mediterranean-style rub is like French Kissing a Greek goddess, if you know what I mean. It makes chicken, fish, pork and vegetables heavenly.
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, mix well. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from heat and light.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup dehydrated garlic flakes
1/4 cup kosher salt
3 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp MSG free chicken stock powder
2 tbsp dehydrated onion flakes
1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp dried parsley
1 tbsp dried basil
1 tbsp dried marjoram
1 tbsp coarsely ground fennel seeds
2 tsp dried thyme
2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 cup kosher salt
3 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp MSG free chicken stock powder
2 tbsp dehydrated onion flakes
1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp dried parsley
1 tbsp dried basil
