CHOCOLATE FONDUE
The name itself evokes romance…….dipping pieces of succulent fruit into a warm, bath of liquor laden Belgium chocolate…mmmmmm
The process is easy, the rewards are many. Enjoy
225 ml heavy cream
25 ml liquor of your choice, Grand Marnier, Amaretto etc
300 grams really good chocolate, Valhrona, Callebaut or Guittard
Clean washed and dried fresh fruit, such as
Raspberries
Strawberries
Blueberries
Banana
Mango pieces
Papaya
Kiwi
Marshmallows
Sponge cake pieces
Biscotti
In a double boiler, heat the cream and liquor together, add the chocolate and whisk until melted. Transfer to a fondue pot, surround with an assortment of fruits. Dip to your hearts content.
